[ESIP-all] Job Opportunity: Metadata Manager with the LP DAAC

Hi list,

SGT, Inc. is currently looking to fill a Metadata Manager position with the
TSSC Contract in support of NASA's Land Processes Distributed Active
Archive Center (LP DAAC). The LP DAAC is located in Sioux Falls, South
Dakota at the USGS Earth Resources Observation and Science Center (EROS).

The Metadata Manager will be a member of a multidisciplinary team that
interacts with a broad spectrum of remote sensing data and their associated
metadata. The Metadata Manager will provide technical support in multiple
areas involving data requirements with primary focus on product and
metadata standards. The selected candidate will identify, maintain and
develop accurate processes, conforming to science data and metadata
requirements by utilizing common and custom-designed software.
Additionally, the Metadata Manager will work directly with data providers
focusing on standards for data and metadata.
