If you are interested in gaining skills in earth data science and Python programming, consider the Earth Data Analytics - Foundations<https://www.colorado.edu/earthlab/earth-data-analytics-foundations-professional-certificate?utm_source=listserv&utm_medium=listserv&utm_campaign=certificate-2019> professional graduate certificate at the University of Colorado, Boulder. This three course program is aimed at working professionals and can be taken entirely online or in person, or in any combination of the two. It consists of nine credits over ten months from August through June. Applications are currently being accepted for the Fall 2020 cohort.



Program Overview

The certificate consists of three sequential courses<https://www.colorado.edu/earthlab/earth-analytics-certificate/earth-data-analytics-courses?utm_source=listserv&utm_medium=listserv&utm_campaign=certificate-2019>, which provide the fundamental skills required to work in the growing field of earth data science. Graduates will be prepared to launch or advance careers as data scientists, data analysts, GIS/geospatial analysts, remote sensing scientists, or product managers, among others. Recent graduates, experienced earth science professionals, and those looking for a career change will find the skills taught in the certificate applicable. All of the content taught in the first two certificate courses is freely available on earthdatascience.org<https://www.earthdatascience.org/courses/>, where you can work through it at your own pace.
