The National Center for Ecological Analysis & Synthesis (NCEAS) is excited to announce the inaugural Environmental Data Science Summit [eds-summit.github.io]<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/eds-summit.github.io/__;!!CKZwjTOV!mQ-Nc19Wke8uKIU5zljKhIONw5L_W1hv2n_vio0zjNvp_W_w18zVhJBiYO50$>! As part of a new Environmental Data Science Research Coordination Network, this annual summit will bring together environmental data scientists to connect, learn, share and collaborate. Each year the summit will be designed around a theme. This year's Summit theme is Harnessing Diversity in Environmental Data Science.

Where: Santa Barbara, CA, USA
Who: Anyone working in or interested in Environmental Data Science. If you use data to ask questions about our environment and how we interact with it, this summit is for you! Participants will be selected through an application process with multiple opportunities for participant funding.
