This NWS-Academia Partners Roundtable stems from the conversations started
at the August 18, 2020 NWS Partner Webinar <https://youtu.be/JDCn2aQvhS0> which
focused on research and undegraduate learning and from recent NWS
leadership engagements over the last year. While the NWS has traditionally
focused many partners meetings on weather industry topics, the time has
come to offer more in depth discussions with academia partners. This
roundtable will serve as an opportunity to directly connect Academia
weather, water and climate sector with Weather-Ready Nation goals and
objectives.
