[ESIP-all] Register for Climate Informatics 2022 [Asheville, NC & virtually, May 9-13, 2022]

Dear colleagues,

You are invited to register for the upcoming hybrid 11th International
Conference on Climate Informatics <https://ncics.org/news/events/ci2022>
(Climate Informatics 2022, *May 9–13, 2022*). The in-person event will be
held at The Callen Center, located in the scenic downtown Asheville where
both NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information and North Carolina
Insitute for Climate Studies call home. The conference will also be
available for virtual participants via zoom with the option to attend both
hackathons and talks/posters/panels.

The conference is a venue for interdisciplinary discussion among computer
scientists, data scientists, climate scientists, and users to advance the
knowledge and development of climate informatics. The conference will also
host a hybrid hackathon for conference attendees to initiate collaborative
projects on drought and/or energy research ideas.

conference despite whether you submitted an abstract/paper or not. The
conference program will be available online in early April 2022.

For people who plan to attend the conference in person, we have secured
discounted rates for two hotels in downtown Asheville within 5-10 minutes
of the conference venue (see conference website). You are encouraged to
book your room as soon as possible as the room block is limited.
