Dear colleagues,
We cordially invite you to join the NSF-funded Cyber2A team
<https://cyber2a.github.io/people/core-project-team.html> for its second
workshop on *scaling the collective impact of AI in Arctic and Geoscience
research*, to be held *October 20–24, 2025, in Santa Barbara, CA*.
Last year, we hosted our first workshop
<https://cyber2a.github.io/workshop/> focused on providing AI training to
Arctic and Geoscience researchers and received valuable feedback from
participants. This year, our focus shifts to a *"train-the-trainers"*
model. We aim to collaborate with faculty, instructors, and geoscience
researchers who are interested in offering AI training within their own
research communities. We invite you to help us review and refine our
training materials (online book here
<https://cyber2a.github.io/cyber2a-course/>), enhance the curriculum, and
co-develop strategies for delivering similar courses across institutions.
You can find more information about this year’s workshop here:

Or go directly here to apply! Application due: *June 30, 2025*.

NSF travel funds are available for selected participants. We look forward
to welcoming you to Santa Barbara and advancing AI research in geoscience
together!
Sincerely,
Wenwen
