The meeting that I mentioned ... might be more policy / management people involved ... but they also might have an interest in getting this funded due to the requirement of cross-agency cooperation in the OSTI memo.

> Following up on the February 2013 White House Office of Science and Technology Policy Memo on increasing public access th the outputs of federally funded research -- both publications and datasets -- the National Academies are hosting a pair of meetings (one on publications, on MAY 14-15, and one on data, on MAY 16-17). The announcement, which includes a link to background information and registration pages, is below. Note that the meetings are free but advance registration is necessary. The meetings will also be webcast.
