Hi DDSians,

Our telecon is today at 3:00 ET.  Login info is below.

We'll discuss what happened at the ESIP panel and working session and 
also discuss moving forward on this plan of action:

- create a compelling opinion piece for publication in EOS and elsewhere

- seek small, quick funding to
   - hold a planning workshop in conjunction with winter ESIP in DC
   - to a review and synthesis of prior work

This morning I am drafting a straw man outline for the opinion piece, 
especially integrating points from the panelists.  I welcome any and all 
suggestions for framing it!  If anyone would like to work on it 
collaboratively let me know and I'll create a Google Doc.

I have become convinced of the power of stories, so I'm trying to find 
the right story to tell in this piece, a story that would resonate with 
readers of the EOS piece.  Any brainstormy ideas??

Down the road we need to think of the story to tell others, such as 
someone from Congress.  I imagine it would sound very different from 
that told to the EOS readers.
