Dave-I assume you sent the invite to Ted Haberman?

Another receptive audience might be the ESIP-discovery interest group
(esip-discovery at lists.esipfed.org); lots of metadata enthusiasts there, but
heavily oriented to 'big data' (satellites, sensor networks..). Learn more
at their wiki

Holistic Testing - Metadata

9/6/2011 to 9/9/2011

>From September 6th - September 9th, Esri Software Products is inviting you
to an Esri Holistic Testing event in Redlands. This will be your
opportunity to participate and to test the latest metadata tools and
functionality in ArcGIS 10.1. The metadata team continues to work on
improvements to the metadata experience including:

*	New detailed validation for the fields in the metadata editor
*	Improved import tools for FGDC and ISO metadata into ArcGIS format
*	Improved export tools for sharing ArcGIS metadata in standard
formats
*	Updated metadata views for ArcGIS format and other standards
*	Saving frequently-used contacts and loading them into your metadata

Holistic Testing offers a great testing environment to collaborate users
that are interested in testing workflows with the added benefit of being
able to work with Esri developers to resolve any concerns regarding the
software that may arise during testing. The goal of this testing event is
to test new software and new functionality with real customer workflows and
datasets. This is your opportunity to learn, use and test what is new in
10.1 and your chance to provide feedback on new functionality prior to the
final release.

Holistic Testing will take place at Esri Corporate Headquarters, 380 New
York Street Redlands, CA 92373, from September 6th - September 9th, 2011,
Tuesday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm.

*All the needed hardware and software will be set up and ready prior to
your arrival.

If you are interested in participating, please send an email to:
HolisticTesting at esri.com. We are looking for a commitment of at least 3
days for you to spend in Redlands.

Participants must in the Esri Beta testing program or have an NDA in place.

Participants will be responsible for their own travel and lodging.

Thank You,

Holistic Testing Team
