Sounds good. We could do a show of hands to help priority which languages.

So it wasn't clear if we were scheduling the session as {language, language, …, common hack-a-thon}, or {language1, hack-a-thon1, language2, hack-a-thon2, …}. I can see pros & cons for each approach. Let's discuss further in the telecon.

Good point Chris! It looks like we'll have plenty of time since there are 2 x 90-minute sessions. Just wanted to post some initial times up for discussion at today's telecon. Another thing to discuss is if we want to split up some zipping through at the beginning of both sessions, or zip through it all at the first session.

We could take a poll right up front to find out what languages people want to learn.

I thought we were going to zip through all of the languages in a total of ~20 minutes, then let people start hacking. Otherwise, there won't be any hacking time...

I've update the agenda with more details:

The first topic is the Discovery hack-a-thon. I updated the hack-a-thon session details page:
http://wiki.esipfed.org/index.php/Discovery_Hack-a-thon_Details
Now has a first cut at the session schedule. Grouped the hack-a-thon into non-coders, coders, and a "cast publishing" segment.

The Details page might be a good place to post our tools, code sample, etc. so the audience can follow.
