Hello all,
Today is the day for the Documentation Cluster call. Connection information below.
The original plan was to continue our discussion of sample Metadata with a focus on some work the USGS is doing. The plan is to use the ESIP wiki as a focal point for information related to this topic. We have started a skeleton of the sample metadata category (http://wiki.esipfed.org/index.php/Category:Sample_Metadata <http://wiki.esipfed.org/index.php/Category:Sample_Metadata>) any ideas on how we can use the wiki?
Also, Joan Damerow is looking for papers that evaluate how well metadata and data (both standards and that which is provided by people publishing data in reality), reflect the needs of people searching and reusing data. Any ideas on that?
Open discussion as well…
Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy
Ted
