[Esip-drone] ESIP Drone Cluster: Community Notes & Telecon Schedule Update

Hello Drone Cluster,

We won't be meeting this month, and will be proceeding with telecons every
other month. Our next telecon will be:

*September, 22nd --  4pm ET / 1pm PT*


We will send out more details about our September Telecon closer to the
date, but In the meantime three community notes:


*1. ESIP Summer 2016 Drone Session:*

Thanks to all who participated in our Friday Session, we had a great
discussion especially around Drone Data and Metadata Standards. This is a
conversation we are hoping to continue. *Notes and presentation slides are
available* on our Summer Drone Session ESIP Commons Page

like to see or add to the summer session page, let me know.


*2. Drone Cluster Open Science Framework: *

Please check out all our Drone Cluster OSF <https://osf.io/nuvem/> for all
our projects and resources. We're still building the Drone Cluster
Framework, and it will be an ongoing community page.* If you'd like to
contribute:* sign up for an OSF account (free!) and then you can comment
with any questions / contributions, or you can email me and I can add you
as an official contributor.


*3. SciDataCon / International Data Week:*

If you are planning on being in Denver for SciDataCon / International Data
Week - please come to the Innovative Data Collection, Infrastructures and
Analysis Session where Jane Wyngaard will be giving a talk on drones: *Pushing
the boundaries in science data collection*
