There's one other paradigm that I forgot: sensor web data records I'd hesitate to say this is equivalent to "linked data" - I think it resembles more recordings of conversations by members of a village, including times of sleep and occasional deaths. This kind of recording isn't common now, but is likely to become so in the future. Bruce B.
