This is great.
Have you guys looked into ISO 19115-* for representing some of this
information in a machine readable standard format?
In particular, I know you have worked on capturing provenance for
granule level processing -- have you summarized any of that at the
collection level with the ISO lineage fields yet? Also, have you seen
the new W3C PROV specifications? We'd like to develop an Earth
Science extension for PROV aligned with ISO in a rational manner, both
at the granule level and at the collection level.
