Thanks for your comments, everyone. I've forwarded this on to Erin who will
make the changes to the pages. Look for a draft soon! Thanks in advance,
Erin.

Subject: Re: [Esip-preserve] Data Management course landing page changes
Hi Nancy,
I also like the proposed updates for the data management course landing
page. The proposed changes should improve the readability of the page and
the organization of the learning modules by subsections could improve
discovery of the individual modules, since potential users will be able to
look in the subsections of interest.
Thanks,
Bob

Hi Nancy,
I like the updates (I am assuming that the actual updates would take
standard white space and such look N feel norms into account). So, sorry to
say it, but I can't think of an excuse to call a special telecon about this.
If we ever get more content created we may need to a bit more organization
but this certainly is a great step forward and is probably quite sufficient
for the moment (well with the addition of those schema.org tags).

Hello, all:
In the past, the DMT Short Course working group had talked about making some
changes to the organization of the Data Management short course landing page
to reflect the hierarchy of the modules as well as the titles themselves.
I've attached a first draft of what I think a landing page could look like.
Note that the underlining of each of the title represents a hyperlink to
that modules landing page. Please review and comment or make changes in
this MS Word doc by renaming the file with your initials and with Track
Changes On, if possible. Thanks! I look forward to your comments &
suggestions and will let you know the results, of course. If there's a lot
of controversy, it might be a good excuse for a call of this group along
with other things learned about adding <http://schema.org> schema.org tags
to the landing pages for each module.
Regards,
Nancy
