Dear Stewardship Committee, Data Citation Cluster, and Software Citation Cluster,

Apologies for the cross posting. As I hope you know, the data citation and software citation clusters are merging to take on the broad challenge of general research object citation. How do we provide a reference that enables both access and credit to any given research object (data, software, article, instrument, sample, workflow, etc.)?

We plan to meet monthly and would like to find a time that is most congenial to all, so please respond to this doodle poll if you are interested in participating https://doodle.com/poll/u9q8f9c8b4aukv5w

I will close the poll and determine a date on 8 February.

Meetings will begin late February or early March. The first meeting will be to scope out what we can realistically accomplish in the first year

Any questions? Please contact:
me: chair of the new cluster
Jessica Hausman: chair of s/w citation cluster
Ruth Duerr: chair of stewardship committee

cheers,

-m.
