All -

I have drafted a mission statement for the Science Software Cluster for
your consideration and input. Please suggest any improvements you want to
make by responding to this email.

"The mission of the Science Software Cluster is to explore ways to support
the sustainability of the software products developed by and for domain
scientists. We encourage input from all interested parties to help evolve
our approach and projects.
Chair: Jim Bowring, College of Charleston"

ALSO: remember we have a monthly tele-con on the 3rd Wednesday of every
month at noon. These are announced on the front of the new ESIP website:
http://www.esipfed.org/

I will send a reminder for next month's call.

Cheers,
Jim

R. Buckminster Fuller (1972):
If humanity is to survive aboard our planet, it must become universally
literate and preoccupied with inherently cooperative Comprehensive
Anticipatory Design Science in which every human is concerned with
accomplishing the comfortably sustainable well-faring of all other humans.
