[Esip-sciencesoftware] Mission Statement Draft

Your initial draft looks good! So that it seems more inclusive for others
to use the software, in addition to domain scientists, perhaps we could
consider modifying it slightly to replace "by and for domain scientists"
with something like,

"for use with scientific data".
