[esip-semantictech] Breaking out a Vocabulary Hackers Cluster from SemTech

Hi Folks,
This week several members of the community have been working on a VoCamp where serious progress has been made on harmonizing the cryosphere terminology across the SWEET and ENVO ontologies.
At the final session of the week [0], the idea of spinning out a ‘Vocabulary Hackers’* cluster emerged. I personally think this would be a positive move and would enable that group to move on with their own agenda with more or less full autonomy.
Pierre, Gary, Chuck, Ruth a few others and I would be participants with the scope being small to begin with.
The question I’m bringing to this list is, should we go ahead with it and if so, who has the energy and motivation to lead the effort?
The following is my understanding of the resources which would be required

  *   Mailing list (esip-vochackers at lists.e.o<mailto:esip-vochackers at lists.e.o>)
  *   Access to create repositories and comment on issues in within the ESIP Github Org
  *   Access to the ESIP GoTo Meeting teleconference facilities to facilitate vocabulary Hacking sessions… in essence mini VoCamp meetups.
  *   A small budget to facilitate 2 VoCamp’s a year co-located with ESIP meetings. We should try to resource share with anything else going on with the SemTech Committee e.g. GeoSemantics Symposium.
  *   … have I missed anything?

The above describes my understanding of the conversation. Did I miss anything?
