Hi all -
Our regularly monthly call is tomorrow (Friday) afternoon. For the second
half of last year, our meetings were focused on finishing/polishing the ROI
paper. It was published in December and we've had a bit of a hiatus since
then.
Publishing the ROI paper means each of our three original objectives has
reached a milestone of a sort (see wiki entry for tomorrow's call). What we
should do now is start a frank discussion of where we want to go next.
Attendance at our calls has dropped off with the focus on the papers.
Some questions we might address:
Do we want to start some new projects? Generate membership? If so, toward
what objectives? Continuing one or more of these topics? If so, is this
group the right place, or is there another ESIP cluster with overlap? If
that is the case, another option might be that we dissolve this group and
take what we've learned to other ESIP collaboration areas. We need input
here.
