[Esip-sustainabledm] nightlight pollution data

Hello Amy -
This is way out of my area of expertise, so I asked on the slack channel
for the ESIP federation (https://esip-all.slack.com). Here is the advice I
got

First, there was a suggestion to contact your local, regional, or national
astronomy club. They have lots of resources for light pollution.

Second, someone suggested that the Colorado School of Mines makes the raw
and processed data from VIIRS available. It's not the specific "light
pollution" product exactly but its ia night time lights product.

I hope one of these sources will help you. If you need more information on
light data in general, I suggest looking up more groups in ESIP.
