I’m attending.  Quick list…

  1.  We have one FREE reg to bring in someone who does not normally attend ESIP. Need to determine by 20 June (extended from 10 June)
  2.  Check the Sched entry for accuracy – especially co-chairs / speakers names/titles.  Reach out to megan for corrections of text (other than the description).
  3.  The meeting is considered “in-person” with a virtual aspect.  Not really fully hybrid, but more like ESIP (which in my mind is pretty hybrid).
     *   The Community Fellow will manage the zoom room.
  4.  Make sure you get to your session room 30 minutes ahead to get prepared.
  5.  Plan to fill these roles:
     *   Moderator (chair or co-chair introducing/moderating the meeting)
     *   Zoom – remote moderator
     *   Zoom – in-room moderator
     *   Mic Runner
     *   Note taker (or several, or ask for all to participate)

Charley is now walking us through best practices of designing our session.  We can get consulting time as we see fit.

Note that only the lead organizer is receiving this info - you may wish to forward to your other session organizers.

1.    Attend Session Design Training Workshop on Wednesday June 8,  3-4:30 pm ET: Master facilitator and session design consult, Charley Haley, returns to lead us in this new workshop to help you as you prepare your session agenda. We strongly encourage at least 1 person from each session to take part - it will be recorded, but it is likely you will get more out of the live event. We will also offer office hours and some additional session design support with Charley to be announced at the workshop.

2.    Register & request complimentary speaker registration for your session: Session organizers can request a complimentary registration for 1 session speaker per session who has never been to an ESIP Meeting. Once reviewed and approved, we will share details on how to register with you and the speaker.
