Dear all
I would like to also offer my congratulations to the authors of this paper.
It really is a fantastic, well written and very pragmatic paper.
This paper provides a much needed practical and pragmatic set of guidelines for those trying to implement the CARE principles in repositories. It truly does put in one resource, so many of the issues that a diversity of repository types needs to consider in implementing CARE.
The fact that the authorities in the CARE principles and Indigenous Data Governance from the indigenous community, as well as so many Earth and environmental science repository experts from ESIP were involved lends respect to this paper. The level of collaboration in this paper was incredible. I predict it will be well cited.
I have distributed this paper in Australia. It is so relevant here and has given us such a head start.
And thank you Margaret for leading this initiative and the Sustainable Data Management Cluster.
I hope the cluster keeps going on this topic.
Take care
Lesley

Congratulations to all of the authors on an excellent paper! I read it yesterday and was so impressed with this final product. The paper is so useful in its approach as a model and in its practical guidance. I have shared it with parts of my network already and will continue to do so in the next few weeks.
Thank you, Margaret, for your leadership as chair of the Sustainable Data Management cluster. This type of community output takes so much effort. I appreciate all the additional collaboration support above and beyond the intellectual contributions to the paper that you made to see this through.
Best-
Erin
