Hi Everyone,
NASA is trying to find reviewers for the Climate Change Education NRA.
As they got 275 Notices of Intent you can imagine this might be
difficult. If you are not submitting or part of a proposal to this NRA
please consider being a reviewer. See Diane Clayton's email below for
details.
Thanks
Tamara

To: NASA Peer Review Candidates

Project Manager
Tamra Ross, NASA Research and Education Support
Services

Subject: Availability for NASA Global Climate Change Education
Online Peer Review

NOTE: This email is for information gathering purposes. Willingness to
participate in the peer review process does not guarantee a proposal will
be assigned. The number of available qualified reviewers may exceed the
number of reviewers needed.

NASA Research and Education Support Services (NRESS) is seeking persons
willing to serve as online reviewers for the Global Climate Change
Education (GCCE) NASA Research Announcement (NRA) NNH08ZNE005N. Peer
review is a critical component of the decision-making process for awarding
projects under this NRA. It assists in identifying high-quality projects
by engaging individuals with different backgrounds, perspectives and areas
of expertise in the review process.

The GCCE NRA is designed to improve the quality of global climate change
and Earth system science education at the elementary, secondary, and
undergraduate levels. Each funded proposal is expected to take advantage
of NASA’s unique contributions in climate science to enhance students’
academic experiences and/or to improve educators’ abilities to engage and
stimulate their students.

Detailed information regarding proposal requirements and evaluation
criteria are contained in the NRA. This document can be viewed through the
NASA Solicitation and Proposal Integrated Review and Evaluation System
(NSPIRES) at http://nspires.nasaprs.com <http://nspires.nasaprs.com/> .
Select “Solicitations” and then “Open Solicitations”.

The online review period is scheduled for the November-December time frame
. Proposals will be approximately 15-20 pages in length. Non-civil
servants will receive an honorarium of $75 for each proposal fully
reviewed and submitted through NSPIRES by the close of the review period.

Please view the solicitation to determine your interest in serving as a
peer reviewer and respond to the following by return e-mail to
