[ESIP-all] SciDataCon 2016 EXTENDED DEADLINES: Programme Committee and Session Proposals

In response to several requests, not least to allow people the opportunity
of discussing session proposals at a number of forthcoming conferences, we
have decided to extend two important deadlines for SciDataCon 2016

*Invitation for Programme Committee Candidates / Nominations: DEADLINE 15
FEBRUARY 2016*
The SciDataCon 2016 Programme Committee will play a key role in shaping the
scientific programme of the conference.

*SciDataCon and International Data Week

SciDataCon 2016 seeks to advance the frontiers of data in all areas of
research. This means addressing a range of fundamental and urgent issues
around the ‘Data Revolution’ and the recent data-driven transformation of
research and the responses to these issues in the conduct of research.

SciDataCon is part of International Data Week which also includes the 8th
RDA Plenary and an International Data Forum.  These complementary
components mean that you can participate in a research conference and RDA
working sessions in the same week!  This will be a landmark event for the
data community and for all professions with a stake in the role of data in
research: whether from the perspective of researchers, data scientists,
data managers, research policy experts etc.
