Hi ESIP community,
I'm seeking a speaker from the ESIP community that can speak about data management platforms, ideally about air data. It's for the 2022 Air Sensors International Conference<https://gcc02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fasic.aqrc.ucdavis.edu%2F&data=04%7C01%7CMcMahon.Ethan%40epa.gov%7C3efb56cba4da498ae4f608d97e0a435a%7C88b378b367484867acf976aacbeca6a7%7C0%7C0%7C637679404938733697%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C2000&sdata=iFwqLBYxIaDCwF4xDcOPSLn5JQq%2F97p9cAVa6Lnn0yU%3D&reserved=0>, which is hosted by the UC Davis Air Quality Research Center on May 11-13, 2022.
We're looking for parties that have developed or used such a platform rather than profit organizations that could promote their services. If you think you fit the bill, please send me an email offline at mcmahon.ethan at epa.gov<mailto:mcmahon.ethan at epa.gov>.
Here's some background.
The session is called "Swimming in data: The current and future state of data management platforms" on the topic of data management systems and how they are changing. We'd like an expression of interest or commitment by Monday, Sept 27th.
Our Technical Program Committee is excited to support the development of the conference to be a hybrid event occurring virtually and in-person in Pasadena, California, May 11-13. This year's ASIC theme is "Pushing ahead to communication and application." As always, ASIC will focus on advancing science and engaging communities for this theme.
ASIC expects to host over 1000 attendees internationally and over 150 presenters in this hybrid format. At the moment, we already have over 20 countries involved in planning the 14 sessions of this three-day conference. We have tentative session titles on our website<https://gcc02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fasic.aqrc.ucdavis.edu%2F2022-program-topics&data=04%7C01%7CMcMahon.Ethan%40epa.gov%7C3efb56cba4da498ae4f608d97e0a435a%7C88b378b367484867acf976aacbeca6a7%7C0%7C0%7C637679404938743652%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C2000&sdata=fngEidSVquIN68b2me6vGp71sQq3bBm%2ByKyKy82RO0E%3D&reserved=0> and exact times will be identified after abstract submissions close this winter. Please note that speakers will receive a subsidized registration rate.
Thanks,
Ethan
