Curt et al.,
Thanks to Erin for mentioning the NOAA Data Management wiki and adding my new email to this list. As she mentioned, the wiki includes alot of examples and specifics about how various things might be done. Also, because it is a wiki, it tends to be rather unorganized (we might call that community driven!). A couple of helpful starts:
https://geo-ide.noaa.gov/wiki/index.php?title=ISO_FAQ
https://geo-ide.noaa.gov/wiki/index.php?title=Use_Cases_to_CRUD
https://geo-ide.noaa.gov/wiki/index.php?title=ISO_19115-1_New_Capabilities
The page https://geo-ide.noaa.gov/wiki/index.php?title=Category:ISO_Building_Blocks presents a starting point for learning some basics (UML, XML, ...)...
and all ISO pages are listed at https://geo-ide.noaa.gov/wiki/index.php?title=Category:ISO_19115
I hope to continue providing information about using ISO Metadata Standards, new capabilities in various revisions, and NASA conventions and extensions in my new position at HDF...
Comments / suggestions / contributions are always welcome...
Ted
